Begin Japanology

Hope everyone has had a lovely weekend! But before it ends completely, why not enjoy the rest of it by learning about Japan. Begin Japanology is an NHK programme on Japan, from karate to bento to stationary and anything in between.

Luckily, you don’t have to have NHK to see the series, as it’s also available on their YouTube Channel! Here is season 1 episode 1: Bento. Enjoy!

  1. Hello! My name is Nanako, a 17 years old Japanese.
I knew you via Twitter and watched this wonderful blog.
And, I have an idea for you and me, so I decided to send a message. It may makes you surprised or feel bad. Then, please ignore me.
The idea is: I love London so much, and I guess you love Japan (thank you!). And I would like to study and live in London so badly. But my mother does not agree because she worries too much to let me go to the place she doesn’t know. And I thought, if only you’d like to come to live in Japan, please stay at my house! And then you do not have to pay for house while you are in Japan. And during you are in there, if it is possible, please may I stay at your home? This is my idea. I am sorry suddenly. But if you will be interested in this plan even a little, I will send you pictures of my home and explain more.

Thank you so much for reading and your time! I hope you have a great day.
    Yours sincerely
