So on Chinese New Year I finally got the opportunity to eat at Eat Tokyo. You might find it strange that I went to eat Japanese for Chinese New Year, but believe me there was logic in this decision! Because of course everywhere in China Town was absolutely crowded, we thought it’d be a good way to avoid the mass (u_u).
But actually no that was just an excuse to eat Japanese!
Eat Tokyo is one of those authentic Japanese restaurants run by Japanese head chefs.
You can find branches in Trafalgar Square, Golders Green, Holborn and Notting Hill. They serve everything from Sushi to bento boxes. And may I add, their bento boxes are huge! Even I had trouble finishing it (and I eat a lot!). Price wise, they’re not too expensive either, which is a good thing. The only problem is, there’s usually queue outside the restaurant 😦 But that gives you an indication of how good it is doesn’t it? So be patient and give it a go! I had the oyakodon, which wasn’t too bad, but I must admit I wasn’t too impressed by their miso soup unfortunately. But maybe that’s just me being picky.
Have you been to Eat Tokyo? What did you think?
